laundry, a diner and a castle

Today was all about doing my laundry, which was early in the morning.
At the same time, a 10K race was going on in Victoria ending right near the Empress. Lots of runners all around town.
Then I went to Rosie's Diner in Cook Street Village, really yummy.
I had a halibut sandwich and fries - great service, too.
Later in the day, I went to Craigarroach Castle, which is really an old Victorian (duh!) house with lots of great antiques. Lots of wood, too!
Much fun in Victoria - I like the city immensely.

April 25 - Victoria nirvana

Today, I rented a bike from BikeBC across the street from the Empress Hotel where I am staying and rode to North Saanich along the Galloping Goose and Lochside Trail.
The weather was in the high 50s (11C) with a bit of a breeze coming from Victoria, perfect biking weather!
